Return & Refund Policy
Last Updated: 6 July 2026
We're committed to transparency, especially since most of our items are secondhand. All products are sold as-is, and returns are not accepted unless required by New Zealand consumer law.
Non-Returnable Items
- Change of mind is not a valid reason for return.
- We do our best to describe and photograph all products accurately. Minor imperfections — such as light wear, small marks, pinholes, faded tags, or surface scuffs — are part of the secondhand nature of our products and are not grounds for return unless they fall outside our stated grading standards.
- Photos form part of the item description. Please review images carefully before purchasing.
Electronic & Battery-Operated Items
- All electronic and battery-operated items are sold as-is due to their secondhand nature.
- Items are tested at the time of listing for basic functionality, or otherwise described as 'not working' or 'untested', however no guarantee is made regarding long-term performance, safety compliance, or battery life.
- Batteries may not be included, or may require replacement.
- Acceptable quality is assessed in line with the item's age, condition, and secondhand status.
Faulty or Misrepresented Items
- We ask that you contact us within 48 hours of delivery if an item is faulty or not as described — this helps us assess and resolve the issue quickly, and helps distinguish delivery-related faults from wear that occurs after use. Claims made outside this window will still be considered in line with your rights under NZ consumer law, but prompt reporting helps us help you faster.
- If the item was damaged in transit, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery so we can file a claim with the carrier in time. We recommend recording the unboxing if exterior damage is visible.
Exchanges
Most of our products are one-off finds, so exchanges are not available. If a return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Children's Safety Notice
Due to New Zealand safety regulations, we do not recommend secondhand goods (excluding clothing) for children under 3 years old. Always inspect and wash items before use.
Restocking Fee
Where a return is required under NZ consumer law (the item is faulty or not as described), no restocking fee applies. For returns we accept at our discretion outside of these circumstances, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to cover time and costs associated with rechecking, repackaging, and relisting.
